Corporate responsibility
AWD promotes promising social, scientific and cultural projects.

Social
Just like the well-being of our customers, social responsibility is also very close to our heart.
One of our longest social projects has been the AWD-Stiftung Kinderhilfe foundation. This has been involved in helping children since January 1991. The main goal of our foundation is to save children's lives, to relieve their suffering from illnesses and to improve their quality of life. As the wellbeing of children is very close to the hearts of all of us, many of our employees also donate a part of their monthly salary.

AWD supports the Mörbisch Festival on the Lake, an annual operetta festival in Mörbisch am See (Austria). Austria and Hungarian operettas are performed here in the summer months and around 200,000 visitors flock to see them. The natural backdrop of the Lake Neusiedl is included in the stage design.
In the summer of 2010, the Mörbisch Festival on the Lake is presenting the operetta "Der Zarewitsch" by Franz Lehár for the first time in its history. For more information, see
