Pension provision growth market

"The pension provision market offers attractive growth opportunities. People have understood that they themselves have to do something so that they are insured when they retire. They are looking for holistic advice from an experienced pension specialist.

Nils Frowein, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of AWD Holding AG

The market potential for the AWD Group will continue to grow over the coming years because:

Pension shortfalls are increasing

The population in the AWD Group regions of Germany, Austria, CEE, Switzerland and Great Britain is ageing. All over Europe, the relationship between those receiving pensions and those in employment will increase considerably over the next few years.
As the financial burden of the state brought on by the demographic change is no longer viable, the state is withdrawing from pension provision for its people on an increasing basis. State pensions of the future will only be basic provisions - the pension shortfall for older people is increasing.

Independent provision is inevitable

Efficient private and company pensions are becoming inevitable and profitable savings arrangements are becoming mandatory. The private customer must make up his or her pension shortfall him- or herself to ensure an appropriate quality of life in his or her retirement.

There is an increasing demand for advice

The problem of this impending old age poverty is urgent and the people of Europe have realised this. The enormous media coverage of the issue of pension provisions increases the awareness of the problem even more. However, there is probably nothing more complex than financial security in old age. The demand for advisory services and support is therefore massive.

The AWD Group has put its advisory focus on retirement security at an early stage and is therefore in a promising position to profit from the long-term market potential.
